WELCOME
TO CAPRIVI
RIVER LODGE
Caprivi River Lodge is situated on the lush banks of the mighty Zambezi River on the outskirts of Katima Mulilo, nestled under the shady canopy of tall indigenous trees; surrounded by green lawns and beautiful gardens that attract a wide variety of birdlife.
A theme throughout the lodge is the unique furniture and carvings. Incorporated in the main building is the lounge, bar, and kitchen, flowing from this is our dining Lapa and an extension to this are the decks and walkways overlooking the waters of the Zambezi. Last but not least is our boma fireplace with its’ African chairs where one can relax after dinner, chin wag, and finish off the evening.
Situated in the heart of the KAZA (Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area); Caprivi River Lodge is an ideal place in which to unwind and relax and experience true Zambezi Tourism, and plan excursions to the national parks of the Zambezi region (Nkasa Lupala, Mudumu and Bwabwata); or to the neighbouring countries of Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe with world-renowned attractions such as the Chobe National Park or the world heritage site the “Victoria Falls’.
ACCOMMODATION in Katima Mulilo
Caprivi River Lodge is a small exclusive lodge with only ten river-facing chalets (regrettably no camping facilities). Of these 10 rooms, five are Queen rooms, four are twin rooms and one is a Family room. Wake up to the chorus of bird calls early in the morning in one of our cool, comfortable thatched chalets. All chalets are en-suite and have a tea and coffee station, Wi-Fi, Aircon, Bar fridge & DSTV, as well as complimentary toiletries. Our chalets have unique hand-made and hand-carved furniture all from local woods and carved by local artists.
